This section offers privacy settings, allowing users to restrict public access to their chatbots. Moreover, it includes options to embed the chatbot on approved, whitelisted domains, enhancing the protection of user privacy.
Under the "Publish chatbot" option, it's important to note that by default, your chatbots are not published. This means they cannot be shared with others or embedded into third-party websites or applications, only you can chat with your chatbots. To activate these capabilities, you must first publish your chatbots.
In the "Whitelist domain" section, this feature is initially turned off by default. This means that anyone who possesses your chatbot's embedding JavaScript snippet can integrate your chatbot into any website. However, once you activate this feature and specify your whitelisted domains, your chatbots will then be limited to embedding only on those specified sites.
Consequently, your chatbot will not function on domains that are not whitelisted, even if someone attempts to embed it there.
